Daniel S. Loacano
Assistant Director

Daniel S. Loacano has been the Assistant Director at Bagley Housing Association (BHA) since July 1998. During his four years in this position he has spearheaded a BHA neighborhood home rehabilitation program which has brought more than $1,000,000 in grants and forgivable loans, from a variety of sources, to 70 resident-owners. He also coordinates the new construction punch list/warranty program with BHA's builder and its new homebuyers.

Prior to joining BHA, Mr. Loacano served for two years as the Administrator-Planner for the Hubbard-Richard Citizens' District Council. In this position he worked closely with BHA in the early stages of the implementation of its neighborhood revitalization plan. He also has served as a Housing Development Officer for Michigan State Housing Development Authority and as a Program Analyst for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Dan holds an MS in Urban Planning from Wayne State University and an undergraduate degree in Geography from Eastern Michigan.
