Diverse and United, an exhibition of Community Artists and Friends

The Hubbard Richard community motto is “Diverse and United”. It is true that the community is diverse; we are working on becoming united. With the example of the artists in this exhibition we are making strides.

We are grateful to our parent organization Ste. Anne de Detroit Church and its pastor, Rev. Robert Duggan, CSB, for supporting the cultural projects of The Hispanic Art and Education Center. We appreciate Bagley Housing Association director, Dr. Vincent Murray and his staff, Amelia Duran, Amy Israel, Dan Loacano, and LaKeisha Tuggle, for providing us a rent-free space, and for their warm and gracious welcome to the gallery artists and patrons. We deeply appreciate the talent and generosity of the artists who exhibit with us. And we thank our financial patrons: City of Detroit Cultural Affairs Department, Comerica, Ford Motor Company, New Detroit, Inc., and Gallery patrons. To all of you mil gracias.
